Focus Home Interactive has released the launch trailer for R.A.W. - Realms Of Ancient War. R.A.W. - Realms Of Ancient War promises to be a true and pure Hack'n'Slash that offers intense and challenging combat all while displaying an impressive number of enemies onscreen. The game is now available on Xbox LIVE, is planned for a September 25th release on PSN, and will hit PCs on October 4th. Check the video after the break.

2K Games and Gearbox Software announced today the much anticipated Borderlands 2 is now available in North America and will be available internationally on September 21, 2012 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Windows PC. The four-player cooperative shooter-looter already has critics raving, with review scores of 9 out of 10 from IGN, 9.75 out of 10 from Game Informer and a perfect 10 out of 10 from PlayStation: The Official Magazine.

Cooler Master introduces the CM Storm Recon, an upcoming gaming mouse with a cool design. The peripheral promises an ergonomic grip and features the Avago 3090 optical sensor. Gamers will be able to adjust the mouse's sensitivity on-to-fly from 800 to 4200 DPI, and the included software tool will also let you customize the lift off distance and USB polling rate.On top of that, the mouse has a multi-color mouse wheel light that lets you identify the currently active gaming profile. The Recon's onboard memory can store up to 5 profiles and up to 36 macros.

Crytek and Electronic Arts have released a new trailer for their upcoming FPS title, Crysis 3. The game is currently planned for a February 2013 release, and the PC version will feature - among other things - DX11 support and higher-resolution textures.Return to the fight as Prophet, the Nanosuit soldier on a quest to rid the world of the invading Ceph and the corrupt CELL corporation. Obsidian has announced a new isometric party-based RPG titled Project Eternity, which they are hoping to fund with a Kickstarter goal of 1.1 million dollars. Obsidian Entertainment and the legendary game designers Chris Avellone, Tim Cain, and Josh Sawyer are excited to bring you a new role-playing game for the PC. Project Eternity (working title) pays homage to the great Infinity Engine games of years past: Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment. See the video after the break.

Black Mesa has been officially released by the aptly named Black Mesa Modifcation team. The Source Engine upgraded version of Half-Life isn't yet available through Steam, but the developer's website has multiple options for download (it's just a little borked right now). The best part is, the modification is completely free! In order to play Black Mesa Steam will have to installed, as well as as the Source SDK Base 2007 which is also free. DICE has revealed Tank Superiority, a new gameplay mode for Battlefield 3 that will be introduced with the Armored Kill DLC. Tank Superiority is a highly tailored game mode for Armored Kill where platoons featuring Main Battle Tanks and Tank Destroyers fight for control over a single flag often placed in extremely open and hard-defended terrain. The new game mode resembles a 'King of the Hill' struggle and is available on all four maps in Armored Kill, each map featuring a mix of up to 16 tanks. 

As there is only one flag with a tight capture radius per map, heavy tank battles tend to flow back and forth as teams seek to bleed tickets from their opponent. For tank drivers, success usually comes by staying together in packs of 2-3 tanks working together. Going solo to the capture point typically means you get overwhelmed by a large group of enemy tanks.

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 that focuses on the AnvilNext Engine that powers it. The game is currently planned for an October 31st release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. At the heart of Assassin's Creed III, lies a radically redesigned game engine we call AnvilNext. Valve announced an update to the user agreement of the Steam service that forbids class action lawsuits. Details on the change can be read at the company's Steam blog. We’re also introducing a new dispute resolution process that will benefit you and Valve. Recently, a number of companies have created similar provisions which have generated lots of discussion from customers and communities, and we’ve been following these discussions closely.

Ubisoft has revealed new information as well as commentated footage of the co-op mode featured in upcoming shooter Far Cry 3. Far Cry 3 is currently planned for a November 30th release on current generation consoles and PC. Check the video after the break.

Ubisoft's online network, uPlay, appears to have been hacked into with new exposed data suggesting that the service includes a rootkit, according to early reports. The data has not been fully verified, though one hacker website has published a URL which appears to show how PCs files can be accessed through the uPlay service.

Ubisoft installs a backdoor that allows any website to take over your computer. The Sony BMG rootkit was also DRM and required product recall when it was discovered. 

Very simply put -- Ubisoft
