Lost Expeditions is the bonus content that players who have pre-ordered will be treated to. Over 40 minutes of additional game-play, and a flare gun you can blast people in the face with during multi-player maps are included in the bonus content. Users that purchase the 'Insane Edition' of Far Cry 3 will also be treated to the Lost Expeditions. Far Cry 3 will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC the 29th of November 2012.

EA has purchased ESN, the developer behind the recent Battlelog app for web and mobile devices. With the new corporate backing, the studio says it will focus its energy on Battlefield, Battlelog, and other projects with fellow Swedish studio DICE. The ESN team is extremely happy to announce that we now are a part of the Electronic Arts family. During the past few years we have been working closely together with EA and DICE to build Battlelog for Battlefield 3.

This first installment of the Miner Wars franchise is currently being developed by Keen Software House a. s., an independent software company founded and lead by Marek Rosa. Square Enix is releasing DLC for Sleeping Dogs, they've just release a trailer for two new expansions that are due in October. The Street Racer pack adds street-racing, which apparently includes boats now. And the SWAT pack brings 20 new cop missions. Further, the Tactical Soldier pack will add a new powerful weapon and armor set, the Community Gift pack has some free content direct from United Front Games, and details about the first story-driven expansion will arrive on Oct. 14 at New York Comic-Con. Yup, it's not a joke. HP has introduced the world’s first NFC-enabled mouse. The HP Touch to Pair Mouse allows users to instantly connect the mouse to any Bluetooth-enabled PC or tablet. This wireless mouse is designed to work with the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. HP will release the Touch to Pair Mouse in November 2012 for $39 each.

More news from razer today as they announced at the Tokyo Games Show that its Arcade Stick for the Xbox 360 is entering final beta stage. The gaming company went through a total of thirteen revisions since the closed beta began last year, and is now finally getting ready for production. The product is inspired by arcade gaming machines, it features an eight-way joystick and 10 buttons. An interesting aspect about this product is that it's made for modders, users may interchange the acrylic top panel with new designs, and switch the Sanwa Denshi joystick and buttons with other components, without fear of voiding the device's warranty.

Straight down from the show room floor of the 2012 Tokyo Games Show comes this lengthy trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. While it is entirely in Japanese, the gameplay segments require no translations. Of particular interest is a segment around the 2:10 mark in which Raiden "hacks" a robot and then uses it to ambush an unsuspecting guard. Other then that, well stuff gets really, really crazy (talking Bayonetta levels of crazy here) at the 4:00 minute mark. Video after the break.

Valve wants ready beta of its hardware project in 2013

It is getting a bit like old news already, but Jeri Ellsworth from Valve's hardware team revealed to Engadget that she's hoping to have a beta of the team's first product in 2013. What this product will be is still unknown, but it could be a project that involves wearable computing. Ellsworth is hoping to have [a beta] for the team's first product in the coming year -- we'll of course know much more about the product by then, she says.
