Mini-PCs are becoming increasingly popular due to their compact size and powerful performance. However, many of these devices, such as those from Dell and HP, are expensive and do not offer value for money. The Beelink SER5, the Ryzen series 5000 mini-PC from the Chinese company, changes this narrative with its AMD-powered device running the latest Windows 11 Pro. The SER5 Pro 5800H recently appeared on a local e-commerce platform, sporting a price identical to the previous 5600H Mini PC. At its current price of $370, this barebones mini PC ranks as one of the most affordable mid-range Mini PCs on the market.

The AMD Ryzen7 5800H processor was eagerly awaited by many. Manufactured with TSMC's state-of-the-art 7nm process technology, this chip features eight powerful CPU cores that reach clock speeds of up to 4.4GHz. Furthermore, the 5800H processor boasts 16 working threads and an impressive 16MB L3 cache, establishing itself as one of the more powerful chips. This SoC's integrated graphics card is the AMD Radeon Vega 8, which can achieve a maximum operating frequency of 2000MHz. Compared to its predecessor, the Ryzen5 5600H with six cores and 12 threads, the 5800H processor is anticipated to deliver a performance boost of 20%-30%. Simultaneously, the graphics card is expected to see a 15%-20% increase compared to the previous Vega7@1800MHz. 

The SER5 Pro 5800H Mini PC features an upgraded processor and a new generation of patented heat dissipation technology. Additionally, it incorporates a system fan that cools the memory, SSD, and HDD alongside the original CPU cooling fan. This heat dissipation system ensures more stable system operation. The inclusion of a system fan bolsters cooling efficiency, preventing the laptop from overheating during prolonged use. With this advanced heat dissipation system, users can enjoy improved performance, enhanced reliability, and extended battery life.  The full version with 16GB / 500GB SSD is available for under 500 euro and youc an easily install your own memory modules or an extra SATA3 SSD or NVMe SSD.

We predict that it will be one of the most potent tiny PCs we have tried thus far, with a strange innovation in design that allows it to adapt to any desk you will undoubtedly enjoy. We'll test the 8-core version with 16GB memory and 512 GB NVMe storage. In this configuration, it is priced just below 500 EUR when writing this article.
