The body is made soundly, has no backlashes. The leg is made of a combination of silver metal and black plastic. To use the VESA mount, you will have to face the monitor on a soft cloth and press the lock release button on the bottom side of the monitor exactly under the foot. Of course, all these points are illustrated in the instructions.

There is an air vent system next to the foot mounting point. Taking into account that ASUS ProArt PA278QV uses an internal power supply.  No need to worry about the possible overheating of the matrix for hours of work sessions.

The leg hinge has been improved so that the monitor can not only rotate 90 degrees but also set a 35-degree tilt when turning.

There is also a rail in the leg, thanks to which we can adjust the screen height between 0-150mm, which is slightly more than the gaming series ROG.

The hinge and rail are tight, you don't have to worry about spontaneous displacement of the screen.

The connection interface set is assembled on the right side of the case and consists of several DisplayPort 1.2 jacks, Mini-DisplayPort, DVI-D and HDMI 1.4 ports. There is also an audio input jack and an audio output jack. There are 4 USB 3.0 ports available as well. Very convenient for connecting a calibrator, flash drive or card reader. The ability to rotate the screen into portrait mode greatly simplifies the procedure of connecting and laying cables.

To extend its multimedia capabilities, ASUS ProArt PA278QV is equipped with a pair of 4W speakers. Their sound quality is comparable to the acoustics used in budget-priced office notebooks. In other words, the volume reserve will be enough to cope with basic household tasks, but nothing more. RGB elements are absent.
