It was time to try out some liquid cooling on the CPUs, 4400 MHz was the limit on the air cooler, which quite honestly was surprisingly high already. We do not expect to get 'that' much higher with an LCS setup.

Though cooling performance went up incredibly as expected, overclockability didn't change that much. Roughly 4600 MHz on each processor was the limit. Still, having 24 CPU threads at 4600 MHz... that just doesn't suck ;)

Here we can see the BIOS values with the CPUs nicely chilled down. Both idle nicely at 21 Degrees C in the BIOS. Xeons have been yielded for best performance, stability and also TDP. But 4600 MHz is now roughly our maximum per processor.

Time to have a peek at Liquid Nitrogen cooling though.
