Final words and conclusion

It really is hard to critique any of Corsair's chassis offerings. The entire line-up from A to Z scores high as they are well thought through concepts. The team behind it certainly deserves a pat on the back as with the White edition graphite series 600T chassis, once again Corsair puts something unique on the market.

Now in case you did not notice the resemblance, the inner chassis design is pretty much 99% similar to the 650D we recently reviewed. It is the outside where the most changes are to be found. That inner chassis however is nearing perfection with the black design, grommet holes, optimal cable management and then that gap, to be able to access your motherboards backside to swap out a CPU cooler.

The chassis base also has the very same 650D tool free design. We see easy to use and mount optical storage 5.25" device options as well as easy installation of the plenty mountable HDDs. The package is just as complete as that 650D, but it's the outside that matters with the Graphite series. The rounded edges the white/black design, that scroll-wheel to control your fans, yeah we like it very much. We applaud the side panel window option to be able to be swapped out with a black steel mesh, again one of the simple ideas that are handy and effective should you hate side windows or just have a need for more ventilation.

The only thing we can think of in terms of critique would be some more USB 3.0 connectors at the frontside opposed to the four USB 2.0 connectors that there are now. That and admittedly the hot-swappable HDD bay on the 650 we must admit, is a really cool feature we'd have liked to see on this chassis as well. But moreover that's wishful thinking I guess.

Installing a 3.5" device is as simple as inserting it into a plastic rubber mounted bracket and sliding it into the drive bay. Optical or other 5.25" devices you simply slide in and secure and lock it into place. Cooling wise you'll get two silent 200mm fans and a 120mm fan, which can all be adjusted (one setting for all) by the fan controller.

Cable management then, again here's where Corsair continuously shines, cable routing is just not an issue as there are grommet holes inside the chassis allowing you to lead cables anywhere, very important, is that behind the motherboard tray is plenty of space for a lot of wires. So again, that's just good stuff.

guru3d-recommended_150px.jpgThe White Edition Graphite 600T is as complete as it can be. It will boil down to sheer taste and preference whether or not you will opt to purchase one. But there is that second factor, it is not cheap. The SRP is set at 179 USD, though here in the Netherlands we have spotted the unit as tested today already for 150 EUR, but that is still twice as much as your average mid-tower chassis.

So let's not make a secret of it, for a mid sized tower that sales price is a rather steep amount of money. But hey, you'll be looking at it for years to come and being the first thing you see when you look at the PC, it might be worth that money for you. The style and color scheme will not please everybody, but the ones that do like it will easily fall in love with it, I certainly did. The chassis is very complete and extensive in it's feature set. And that fan controller, well that's just brilliant stuff. The White Edition graphite 600T mid-tower chassis as such comes very much recommended.
