Corsair Graphite Series 600T White edition review

Introduction

Corsair Graphite 600T White Edition

That Corsair can make some pretty snazzy hardware is not a secret, and that the manufacturer can make some pretty dandy PC cases isn't a secret either. We've been looking into their Obsidian chassis series, but they do have that other series as well ... the Graphite Series. Initially launched last year.

It was time for an upgrade though, so the designing minions in the dark caves of Corsair's R&D facility started thinking, brainstorming and came up with a fresh idea, yep the Graphite Series could use an update. So the team came up with a special edition series chassis, the White Graphite Series 600T Mid-Tower Case as reviewed today. This little white colored beast has five exposed 5.25-inch drive bays, immediately hinting this chassis to be a mid-tower chassis.

Make no mistake though, mid-tower or not it can house a lot of kit, for example up to six 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives, which can be either HDDs or SSDs, depending on what you prefer of course.

Features include:

One of the more intricate details of the chassis is a big-ass knob on top of the chassis, it hints towards a volume knob yet it's actually a fan controller, we think that's brilliant stuff really. Pure smooth -- as one of our forum regulars would say.

Just below it you'll spot four USB 2.0 ports, as well as a FireWire connector and sure, they throw in a USB 3.0 connector as well. You'll also stumble into a pair of 200mm fans, with white LEDs of course, for a strong visual impression. There are more fans though as Corsair injected an extra fan (120mm) located in the rear of the chassis.

The Graphite Series 600T White Edition is made of steel with molded ABS plastic accent pieces and is coated black on the inside and white in the outside.

The Corsair Graphite Series 600T White edition is slowly becoming available in stores as we speak at a rather steep retail price of 159,-/ $179.99, it will come with a 2-year warranty though. Anyway, have a peek at the product after which we'll dive straight into the photo-shoot, oh and let me just state that photographing a white chassis in a white background, oh lordy-lordy that's a challenge alright. We do hope you can appreciate the photo-shoot.
