Turtle Beach Unveils VelocityOne Racing and Flight Controllers for Enhanced Simulation Experience

Meet two new Turtle Beach branded controllers: the "VelocityOne Race" racing controller and the "VelocityOne Flightdeck" flight controller.The VelocityOne Race is designed to offer an authentic driving simulation, utilizing Turtle Beach's "K:Drive force feedback motor" for a direct drive experience that closely mimics the feel of actual driving. It features a "Mag-Shift paddle shift" for seamless gear transitions and two analog paddles with magnetic Hall effect sensors for precise clutch and handbrake control.

The controller also includes a "Race Management Display" for real-time race status monitoring, compatible with popular racing games. Additionally, the VelocityOne Tuner app enables performance adjustments, firmware updates, and access to future content expansions.

The controller dimensions include a wheelbase measuring 303mm in width, 310mm in depth, and 234.6mm in height, weighing 5.62kg; a wheel module at 300mm by 266.1mm by 110.2mm, weighing 1.36kg; a control panel at 107.5mm by 132.3mm by 83.3mm, weighing 0.24kg; and a pedal unit at 415mm by 330mm by 223.4mm, weighing 4kg.

The VelocityOne Flightdeck is equipped with a flight touch display for real-time simulation feedback, a head-up display for diagnostics and performance tuning, and a stick/throttle assembly using durable Hall effect non-contact sensors. The stick's design accommodates various hand sizes with adjustable height and features a Pro-Aim focus mode for precision aiming and detailed control during landing maneuvers. The stick measures 177mm in width, 215.8mm in depth, and 234.3mm in height, weighing 1.46kg, while the throttle is 177.9mm by 207.6mm by 134.2mm, weighing 1.51kg. The "Flight Hangar" Windows app allows for performance customization.

The VelocityOne Race is expected to retail at an estimated price of $699, and the VelocityOne Flightdeck at about $399, as of their release on April 12, 2024.
