Logitech G introduced the PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Keyboard, a compact device tailored for professional gaming environments. Developed in collaboration with over 70 professional esports athletes, this keyboard underwent extensive testing, including evaluation of more than 30 prototypes across eight rounds of customer insight (CI) research. The 60 percent form factor is designed to optimize desk space, facilitating more dynamic mouse movements essential for first-person shooter (FPS) competitions and enhancing portability for tournament travel.

Michaela 'mimi' Lintrup from G2 Esports, specializing in Valorant, praised the PRO X 60 for its adaptability and ease of transport, making it a preferred choice for competitive players. However, the reduced size of such keyboards often omits essential keys. To address this, Logitech G's PRO X 60 incorporates KEYCONTROL technology, allowing unprecedented customization by enabling up to 15 functions per key through the GHUB software, expanding the keyboard's utility without compromising its compact size.

Brent Barry, Head of Esports and PRO Series at Logitech G, emphasized the collaborative effort with professional gamers in developing the PRO X 60, noting the KEYCONTROL feature as a direct result of insights gathered from this partnership. This technology aims to enhance gameplay by ensuring vital commands are easily accessible, catering to the specific needs of professional players.

Emma “Emy” Choe from FlyQuest RED, competing in CounterStrike 2, expressed her satisfaction with the PRO X 60's compact design and KEYCONTROL feature, highlighting the advantage of having additional desktop space for mouse movements without losing functionality.

The keyboard also features Logitech G’s LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, ensuring reliable and fast connections even in densely populated environments, as noted by Evan "Verhulst" Verhulst from TSM, an Apex Legends competitor. The PRO X 60 comes equipped with GX Optical switches, available in tactile and linear variants, providing rapid actuation and enhanced gameplay responsiveness. Other features include dual-shot PBT keycaps, LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting, game mode switch, volume roller, media controls, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 2:1 LIGHTSPEED Adapter, complemented by a semi-hard carrying case for transportation.

Priced at $179 in the US and €229 in Europe, the PRO X 60 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Keyboard is available in Black, White, and Pink variants for pre-order on LogitechG.com, with broader retail availability expected in late April.
