This product incorporates a mobile R9-7945HX processor, designed for the MoDT (Mobile on Desktop) platform, featuring 16 cores and 32 threads with a peak acceleration frequency of up to 5.4 GHz. It is based on the Zen 4 architecture and fabricated using TSMC's 5nm process technology. The motherboard is tailored for compact ITX form factors and includes a specially designed CPU cooler that accommodates a 12cm fan for enhanced thermal management.

The BD790i offers two DDR5 SO-DIMM memory slots, supporting a maximum of 64GB DDR5 memory at speeds up to 5200MHz. For storage, it includes two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots and maintains a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for dedicated graphics cards, ensuring full performance capabilities. Connectivity options are robust, featuring an AX210 wireless module, a 2.5GbE ethernet port, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C interface. Additional ports include two USB-A connections at 10Gbps and two more at USB 2.0 speeds.

The BD790i is available for purchase at an initial price of approximately 479 USD (3,599 yuan converted to USD without tax). Mingfan also offers configurations with 64GB RAM and 1TB or 2TB storage, priced at approximately 735 USD and 800 USD respectively.
