Kioxia has recently introduced the EXCERIA G2 SD memory card, an updated version of its mainstream EXCERIA SD model, now with added support for 4K video recording. This new memory card is designed to meet the demands of high-resolution video capture, ensuring compatibility and performance enhancements for users. The EXCERIA G2 operates under the UHS-I interface and is available in capacities ranging from 32GB to 1TB. It offers maximum read and write speeds of 100 MB/s and 50 MB/s, respectively. The card adheres to the UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) standards, making it suitable for continuous and detailed 4K video recording.

For compatibility, the 32GB model works with SDHC and SDXC host devices supporting the FAT32 file system. In contrast, models with 64GB and higher are compatible with SDXC host devices that utilize the exFAT file system.

The EXCERIA G2 SD memory card is set to be available for purchase later this month and will come with a five-year warranty, providing users with a reliable solution for their advanced digital storage needs.
