BenchLeaks recently unveiled a Geekbench 6 score for Intel's Core i9-14900T, showcasing its proficiency despite a significantly lower TDP compared to the Core i9-14900K. The Core i9-14900T, part of Intel's 14th Gen CPUs lineup, offers commendable performance with only half the power consumption of its K-series counterpart while exhibiting a mere 22% decrease in Geekbench 6's multi-core assessment.

A comparative analysis by Tom's Hardware highlights the Core i9-14900T's single-core prowess, placing it in competition with AMD's Ryzen 9 7900 processor, known for its energy efficiency. The Core i9-14900T, equipped with eight P-cores and 16 E-cores, outshines its K-series counterpart in power efficiency, albeit at reduced clock speeds. The Core i9-14900T's benchmark results underscore its performance closeness to the Core i9-14900K, despite lower power consumption and clock speeds. The chip's effective utilization of its 106W TDP is evident in its performance metrics, with sustained clock speeds nearing its maximum boost clock.

Although priced at $549 with an RCP, the Core i9-14900T is yet to hit major U.S. retailers' shelves, underscoring its availability challenges in the market.
