The prices of the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card have plummeted to unprecedented lows, with a Sapphire custom-design variant retailing for $699 after applying a coupon discount on Newegg. This marks a significant price reduction of $100 (equivalent to 12.5%) compared to the recently unveiled NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. Initially launched at $900, the RX 7900 XT, recommended by AMD for 4K Ultra HD gaming with ray tracing, now stands at a more accessible price point. In contrast, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, officially endorsed by NVIDIA for maxed-out gaming with ray tracing at 1440p, is now overshadowed by the RX 7900 XT's affordability and capability, especially in 4K Ultra HD gaming scenarios.

The Sapphire PULSE model, based on the Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU, is currently priced below $700 at two US retailers, affirming the trend of declining prices in the market. This reduction in price is particularly noteworthy as it opens up access to the US market for online purchasers, a departure from previous offers limited to in-store pickups at locations such as MicroCenter.

In response to AMD's price adjustment, retailers and board partners swiftly aligned with the new market conditions, offering the Radeon RX 7900 XT at reduced margins, with prices dropping as low as $709. As anticipated, the price threshold of $700 has been breached once again, making the RX 7900 XT an attractive proposition for budget-conscious gamers.

Equipped with the Navi 31 GPU boasting 5376 Stream Processors, the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT was initially introduced in December 2022 with a price tag of $899. Its recent price revision coincides with the launch of NVIDIA's RTX 4080 SUPER, featuring 16GB of memory. However, the RX 7900 XT maintains a competitive edge with its larger 20GB memory capacity and a significantly lower price point, now reduced by $300.
