ASUS recently introduced three products as part of its Back To Future (BTF) series at CES 2024, which include the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero motherboard, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card, and the ROG Hyperion GR701 case. These additions aim to enhance cable management within computing systems by concealing most cable connectors, thereby streamlining the internal appearance of the case.
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 BTF follows the design principles of the previously launched ASUS TX Gaming GeForce RTX 4070 BTF in China. A notable change is the transition from the 12VHPWR connector to a GC_HPWR slot, which requires a compatible motherboard. In Taiwan, the TUF Gaming B760M-BTF WIFI D4 is already available, and the introduction of the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero BTF elevates the motherboard offerings within this range. Details regarding the release date and pricing of these products were not disclosed at the announcement.
