Unlike the Navi 32 GPU, AMD has chosen to use Navi 33 for this SKU, which limits the specifications to 32 Compute Units and 2048 Stream Processors. The most significant changes come in the form of clock speeds, with game and boost clocks now at 2.47/2.76 GHz, up from 2.25/2.66 GHz. The increase in memory size results in higher power consumption, with the RX 7600 XT drawing 190W, up from 165W. Although it can still be powered by a single 8-pin connector, renderings suggest the possibility of using two.

In terms of physical specifications, AMD confirms that RX 7600 XT cards will come with mandatory DisplayPort 2.1 connectors, while RX 7600 may be offered with 1.4a specs. Officially, the RX 7600 XT with 16GB of memory is expected to deliver improved gaming performance at 1080p/1440p with maximum settings and ray tracing. AMD's comparisons place their card against the older RTX 2060 and RTX 4060 when using FSR2/3 or DLSS 2/3, making direct comparisons somewhat challenging. Nevertheless, the RX 7600 XT is positioned as a competitor to the RTX 4060 non-Ti. The Radeon RX 7600 XT will launch on January 24 at a price of $329. This places it slightly higher in price than the cheapest RTX 4060 but notably lower than the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB.
