Officially, the RX 7600 XT with 16GB of memory is expected to deliver improved gaming performance at 1080p/1440p with maximum settings and ray tracing
LOL I couldn't laugh any harder, I can't breath...

This is a disappointing product. They could've at least put in a bit more performance.

Weirdos. That's a very strange business decision indeed.

Horus-Anhur:

Given the name, one would expect more shaders and a wider memory bus.
With which chip? Looks like they can completely ignore the A770.

extra VRAM cost $$$, you want a free upgrade? lmao

It will be faster than 7600 becouse 8gb is a bottleneck in most games at 1440p. I wish it had more cores as well.

1Gb of GDDR6costs $3.364. So those extra 8GB of vram cost less than 27$. While AMD is charging 60$ more.

You can't expect anything less if otherwise no one would buy the 8GB models anymore.

WTF, AMD. No CU bump, double vram compared to non XT, a clock boost and a tiny 128-bit bus. And a f'ing X8 bus.

When your only card left in the hand is Vram.

Well, the 7600 already maxes out the Navi 33 chip, so their only options was to increase clocks or increase Vram... They cornered themselves with their stupid naming scheme...

I think they cornered themselves with lack of innovation way back when, and the current market share supports that theory. This is bottom tier stuff, and will only sell if cheap enough or to those who think VRAM on this thing will give some kind of forum/peer feelgood.

OMG. Bizarre.

Not so much their naming scheme is the issue, but RDNA3 being a disappointment in terms of technical progress.

AMDs 4060Ti. Basically, those graphs are the Nvidia mumbo-jumbo with upscaler and frame gen. At least is cheaper than even 4060Ti 8GB

Pretty sure AMD dug their own hole here, if anything Nvidia handed them the shovel.

taking ques from nvidia charge more for less or equal to last gen for most of current gen

It's almost a bit sweet that they compare the card to a 2060 which is 5 years old 😀
