NVIDIA has recently unveiled its GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series, introducing three new desktop graphics cards into the market. This series comprises the RTX 4070 SUPER and RTX 4080 SUPER models, both of which have been made available in Founders Editions for the purpose of review. Notably, the RTX 4080 SUPER is priced at $999, marking a $200 reduction compared to its non-SUPER counterpart, the RTX 4080. This pricing strategy signals NVIDIA's intention to transition certain models to the SUPER variants.

In the lineup, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is poised to replace the RTX 4070 Ti non-SUPER, with a price tag of $799. Concurrently, the RTX 4070 SUPER is expected to retail at $599, aligning with the adjusted MSRP of the existing non-SUPER iteration. NVIDIA's focus has shifted towards enhancing shader, ray tracing, and tensor core performance, moving away from an emphasis on CUDA core specifications.
