The cards have been designed in this dual-slot design but the cooler extends a bit, so that's almost three slots right there. Heat travels upwards and the radiator surface area is contained, neither will you see a big enough vent at the back side bracket so all warm air will be dumped inside the chassis. As we always state, chassis ventilation is not just a must, with this updated design it became a necessity.

The cards are close to 1.5 kg in weight is, so that is roughly just over a buck per gram of gaming goodness ;). By the way, Zotac advertises this product with 16+4 Power Phases.
