Routing the cables at the back of the motherboard tray wasn’t very difficult. It is practical for all owners of modern mainboards, as only one plug is plugged in, and there is no need to search in the manual to find out which of the nine pins is available for which function. The mainboard connections for the power, reset buttons, and the lighting for these buttons have been combined in one connector. The PSU can be installed in two places (it’s possible to do it in the place of an HDD cage). In the default place – it’s held on a small steel plate fixed with four screws on edge. There are various mounting options for mounting an SSD / HDD, so the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO offers space for a total of 12 hard drives in 2.5″ or six hard drives in 3.5″ format. We used the discreet mounting on the cable cover on the back of the Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO. To do this, it can be easily loosened using two screws and then removed. The hard drive is now screwed with four rubber feet and can be pushed onto the cable cover.

The inside is very flexible in terms of the installation process. The GPU is installed horizontally, but there’s an option to do it vertically (with a separate kit) or facing upright to the left side panel. The PSU is also secured through the rear; its fan facing the side panel will draw fresh air. The side provides space for radiators up to 360 mm; the top is also up to 360 mm, and so is the bottom. We installed our old/trustworthy NZXT Kraken X62 (280 mm LCS) at the side for the purpose of measurements as well as the air cooler which you'll find below.

Deepcool AS500 which is 164 mm high (and there's 167 mm of space in O11D Evo) and as you can see - it was possible to close the left panel without any struggle. Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO also offers an additional 3-pin ARGB connector for the illuminated front and, as a special feature, a ready-made connector for the switches/buttons (and their lighting) at the front. It is no longer necessary to plug each cable individually into the corresponding pins, which makes the connection much more effortless.
