Here we can see FlowFX pretty clear. The trick is this .. GeForce FX 5800 Ultra produces a lot of heat. A normal cooling technique would 'dump' that heat in your PC Case. FlowFX however exhaust the heat outside the PC. The copper plates on your upper left is the exhaust. On the right upper side you clearly see the air intake. When you peek down a bit you'll notice from left to right CRT/VGA, SVideo output and to the rigth DVI-I connectors.

The design by itself is pretty sleek. Yet FlowFX has two disadvantages. One, it's noisy. Two, it will take up one AGP and one PCI slot.

This photo shows FlowFX from a different angle.

This is a nice photo of the upper backside of the GeForce FX. The traditional MOLEX power connector is clearly visible. I prefer this MOLEX connector way better than previous designs as seen on ATI Radeon 9700 series for a simple reason, it's just more sturdy and stronger. You can also see the copper plates that absorbe the heat from the graphics core and memory.
