You’ll find photos of the finished build inside the Fractal Design North on this page. The GPU that we used here is an air-cooled RTX 3080, and the CPU (Ryzen 9 7900X) is cooled (for measurements) with air (and its Deepcool AS500) cooler. Using the liquid cooler with the tested components wasn’t possible, with the rad placed at the front of the case, as the GPU wouldn’t fit.

The Deepcool AS500 was used for this photo section. It’s the best option, as you’ll leave the (good) standard fans from the front and won’t shorten the place for the GPU from 355 to 300 mm. The motherboard is an ATX form factor one, based on the X670E with AMD Ryzen 9 7900X instead of the X470 chipset, with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X used that we have used for some time. The GPU comes from Asus, the TUF version (GeForce RTX 3080). The final result looks very nice.

No issues were installing the components inside.

Overall, fitting all the cables of the test setup in the case wasn’t tricky (the amount of space for the wires at the back is sufficient, as it’s about 11-25 mm), and the EPS power cable didn’t need to be pre-routed before we attached the motherboard to the tray.
