Conclusion

At a price of $109.99/ €129.99/ £109.99 the Deepcool Castle 240 RGB does offer a lot. This LCS kit performs very well and, with the RGB fans and pump enclosure also included, we feel the Castle 240 RGB offers good value for money.

The radiator is nothing fancy, but the pump block really is good stuff. It’s practically noiseless and this is not to be taken for granted in this kind of product. Thanks to the size, it’s possible to support even Threadripper CPUs (and of course other modern AMD and Intel processors as well). The full RGB really makes a good impression. The braided tubes bend well, and it’s possible to adjust them in many ways, to avoid compatibility issues. Installation is not time-consuming and it’s easy, so users shouldn’t have any problems with the process.

On the other hand, despite the fact that the large pump looks excellent, it may be troublesome in some smaller cases due to the height. Also, an option with a black rim around the pump housing would improve aesthetics for some builds. The included fans are of good quality but could have been less noisy. As for the wiring stuff, it looks like spaghetti at first glance, but it was relatively easy to control it and to avoid a clutter in the system. Summing it all up – it’s an average-performing AIO kit that is easy to assemble and looks very nice.
