The On-Screen Display
The Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 stands out for its well-structured on-screen display (OSD) and user-centric design. It showcases a clear and intuitive menu system, facilitating seamless navigation for the user. In line with Corsair's tradition, this model utilizes a 5-way joystick rather than multiple buttons, enhancing overall ease of operation.
However, the joystick's positioning on the frame's underside occasionally causes inadvertent left or right inputs when users intend to confirm selections. To augment user convenience, this model includes dedicated buttons for power control and input signal selection, enabling easy access to commonly used functions without requiring entry into the OSD menu.
Moreover, users can also modify settings directly through a connected PC using the USB uplink and the iCUE software. Despite the Xeneon 27QHD240 not yet being supported by the current iCUE software, Corsair has intentions of future compatibility, although the manufacturer has not provided a specific timeline. The monitor's firmware updates can be effortlessly imported via the iCUE software.
