Building a Desk

Much like DIY building of a PC, you're going to need some time and effort to build this desk. Be advised though, that these are quality materials, and they can be heavy. At certain stages of the build, you're going to need 2 persons to finish the job. Basically install the feet, cabling for the lift function and your power/USB preferences and you can turn the desk and start building the top side. The desk is all about cable routing, so you can carefully hide away that spaghetti flurry of in and outgoing cables.

We'll show you photos of the build, be advised that assembling it can take a few hours as it's a lot of work and components. Each step is carefully described in the included manual and each separate step has its own bag with the components (screws/nuts etc) needed. You really can't go wrong if you follow that step-by-step manual.

Here we have finished installing the legs and can now install a controller HUB. Platform:6 is designed as a modular desk system featuring a universal standard Aluminum T-Channel crossbar, side rails, and a top-mounted rail. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of attachments and accessories.

Here we install the elevator hub, you can position the desk at any height of preference starting at 74 cm and running upwards to almost 124cm. Being profile-based with the touch of a button you can program your sitting and standing height preference, and switch that option with a single press of a button. If you're someone who always wants more space, there are side extensions available. These extensions provide an extra 30cm x 76cm surface on each side. For your convenience, there are also optional pegboards perfect for storing backpacks, headphones, and more.

There's a spacious tray designed to keep all your cables tucked away neatly, with numerous points for tie-downs. Plus, the in-desk wire management system is perfect for keeping your device cables hidden and organized. Need to store some small items or charge your gadgets? There are dedicated USB Type-A and Type-C ports for that, all neatly tucked beneath a sleek cover that's flush when closed.
