I have a really hard time understanding modern desks because of my current and old desk. This desk, made of wood, has a dedicated space for the tower, for the printer and a small space for other stuff like the rooter, all beneath the stand and the keyboard. I love this setup and the desk was cheap. Modern desks have none of this, just a stand were we supposed to put everything... And are expensive as hell! I'm the only to think this is crazy?!... As for this desk, 1.200 euros for this???

You can buy an adjustable height frame and a butcher block style table top from a hardware store and make your own equivalent for under $500 if you want to match their base desk. You would still come in at half the price even if you wanted to add all of the features of the top tier model. That pricing is nuts

Looks pretty cool I guess, but I have really no idea what prices are in this field. The desk I'm using is the same desk for like ~25 years... I am considering getting a new one at some point as it's super small for modern PCs/monitors. Height adjustment is great if you have back issues, so I would definitely want to have that so I can game while standing when my back/ass goes numb. This Corsair kit is probably decent if you are too lazy/lack knowhow to get all the parts yourself. I remember looking for a stand that would support 2x34" monitors a while back though and found them to be pretty expensive.

Just needed a dirty big fat printer on the other end of the desk to completely spoil the aesthetic. Does look to be cheaper than a couple of self assemble kitchen units. I know what I would choose, as I am no bon viv·eur. 🙄
