The front side of the AS5404T features a revamped design, with a latch door held in place by small magnets. The sturdy metal casing and plastic front give it a nice updated look. The NAS has visual indicators with red striping, and both the front and backside offer a USB 3.2 (connector. The package includes all the necessary items to get started: an adapter, power cable, 2x Cat6e Ethernet cables for the Multi-Gigabit connector (compatible with 10, 5, 2.5 and 1 Gbps, as well as 100/10 Mbit/s), a manual, and screws for securing SSD storage units (sold separately). The NAS supports tool-free mounting of HDDs with its upgrade drive caddies.
