Geekom AS6 comes in two processors flavors from AMD's Ryzen 6000H series, namely the Ryzen 7 6800H and the Ryzen 9 6900HX. The Ryzen 9 6900HX boasts eight cores and 16 threads, reaching a peak clock speed of 4,900 MHz. For graphics, the integrated AMD Radeon Graphics 680M supports up to four displays with a maximum resolution of 4K UHD. To enhance performance, these processors can be paired with up to 32 gigabytes of high-speed DDR5-4800 RAM. Additionally, there is the option of utilizing up to 2 terabytes of M.2-2280 PCIe Gen 4×4 SSD for internal storage.
When it comes to connectivity, the Geekom AS 6 offers a comprehensive range of options. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 6E standard, ensuring fast and reliable wireless connectivity. Furthermore, peripherals can be connected via Bluetooth 5.2. The device features numerous USB-A and USB4-Type-C ports, two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, and even a 2.5G LAN port.
Windows 11 Pro 64-bit comes preinstalled as the operating system, providing users with a seamless experience. The mini-PC is also VESA mount compatible, allowing for convenient installation on walls or the back of monitors using adapters and attachments.
Upon unpacking the GEEKOM AS 6 PN53 Mini PC, an assortment of essential items were found within the box. These included a 150W power adapter, an HDMI cable, and a VESA mount plate with screws, enabling the user to affix the computer to the back of a monitor, optimizing desk space. Supplementary items such as a user manual, a VESA mount-specific manual, and a Thank You card were also present.
Focusing on the mini PC's features, the front panel hosts an HDD LED indicator, a 3.5 mm audio jack compatible with Line out/Mic in/Headphone out functions, a USB4 Type-C port which is compatible with DisplayPort 1.4, offering a maximum resolution of 8Kp60, alongside two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a power button.
The rear panel, on the other hand, showcases a ventilation space at the top, which is crucial for effective heat removal. Moreover, the rear panel includes two HDMI ports with up to 4Kp60 video output capacity, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector compatible with resolutions reaching 5120×2160 @ 60 Hz, a USB4 Type-C port supporting DisplayPort 1.4 with a maximum resolution of 8Kp60, three USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, a 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN port, and a DC jack.
Inspecting the machine's sides, the left side presents many ventilation holes, contributing to efficient heat management. In addition, a Kensington lock slot is provided for securing the device. The right side, in contrast, solely consists of ventilation holes.
