conspiracy with china spying world ... if it true or u believe it, then obviously other world US, rusia, eu also doing the same things, except china more successfully due they manufacturing most of worldwide products now with spying... spying a random personal isnt make sense if it said it create botnet, to spy gov. etc... then it mean it doesnt matter for user you can use as long the product work great, and peace in mind as u are not the target even if u are the target, what they can get from each of u anyway ? like few millions$ of cash ? so they doing lot of trouble for such little money ? afaik xiaomi business style is mass-bargain-sell and in asia(china) they sell everything, from smartphone to air-condition, fish-tank, lamp down to scissor & pen they make nice product with good quality, that u usually paid more if u bought from other brand well we already know the profit margin for many products in market is around 50% i guess they are shaving many things, especially in R&D and just make like what already in market

Does it bother you for any reason? You seem to say it as if it weren't true or it wasn't relevant.
It bothers me, some people here cant see the difference between your own state protecting you and enemies mining your data to harm you and your country. P.S. the other guy that you quoted, he is right thou, SJWism [and "wokness] is worse then AIDS and koronavirus combined.

So... which one is the state that's "protecting" you and which one is the "enemies mining your data to harm you and your country"? Because it really depends on what country you ask, people will put one or the other in either list. China doesn't seem to be bombing other countries all the time, and unlike the US, they aren't funding and giving weapons to ISIS, so... I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of people that don't consider the US to be "the good guys".

China on the other hand has no intention of rectifying it - it's political systems don't really allow it and it actively tries to brainwash it's people to a far higher degree than the US against it. I would be weary of any state run company and try to support open source hardware/software projects when you can.

Well the EU, UK and Turkey are in it too, so... don't really know if "funded by the EU FWIW" is actually a valid point or not. Here is a real document, and here is what happened. And no, the US isn't trying to fix it, they are still helping the Turks and Al-Nusra to fight against Siria to be able to get a hold of the gas pipelines, they are still torturing Julian Assagne for showing the world tons of evidence of US terrorism, and it doesn't look like the NSA is saying "I'm sorry, we will stop spying on everyone, including people for allied countries". People complain about China and Russia, and sincerely, they're both pretty effed up countries, but some people are totally unaware of all the s***t that's going on thanks to the US, Europe, etc. and think that they are "the good guys" in general. And it's a big "nope". They're doing pretty ugly things too. Heck, even Australia is effed up (a satirical but very serious example here).

If you own an electronic device with a microphone or internet connection, you're being spied on. Doesn't really matter by who. To the US Gov't, everyone is the enemy..... There's a reason they're trying to militarize the police, and it's not for the safety of US citizens.

Honestly I dont care what USA or western block countries do to others, im not part of the others, and its not my problem, most of the time I agree with their policies anyway.
