they should just "deactivate" the account leaving the purchased game on the account alone, and once you login all the stuff is returned, none of this delete the account stuff it BS move to delete account with game attached to wither you active using the account or not. If serivies like steam ever shut down i can only imagine the riots that happen when people lose 100's of game and how much money spent on those games, cause it "gone" THis why I never like login platforms just to play my games, but if i have to have them i prefer them in one place not 10+ different place and logins PC eco system for gaming is hot mess cause this imo

That's where no-DRM cracks come in handy, at lest for old/offline games

Steam could offer a "download this game's offline installer" option for anything older than 5 years. And yes, it would be "pirated", but I can assure you, pretty much anything that is older than a couple of weeks is already pirated and in the wild. GoG does this from Day 0... except that the GoG client sucks (luckily it's not needed for single-player games)

The worst for this is EA, they literally steal from you and expect you to then get another EA account, nope not going to happen, steal from me once and we are done. I hope they go broke.

Considering I got all of my ubisoft launcher games from different sources (like bundled with GPU or from a magazine CD) I wonder if my inactive account can be deleted.
