That's going to be a super cheap CPU.

if it is as good as Pentium G3258 then it's the perfect APU for a toy under the TV set... (i hope that AMD will work on aviability)

The technology is STUCK. Years, and years, and years with virtually no improvements other than "shrinking" of a die. Same with software - m$ is selling us (forcibly, imposing it...) new multicolored-same-old stuff ever since the XP. Years and years without REAL, significant improvements... One or two new "filtrations" in graphics, in like 10 years, one or two ''additional capabilities" in the CPU's specs along the 10 years of "development"...Monitors became bigger (so we're also talking about quantity here)... NOTHING new - the one and only reason to buy is to fill the pockets of greedy company "share holders" with yet more $... And on top of all this "running to stand still" situation, what do we get? Yet another set of blunders like this "meltdown&spectre" fiasco, just to realize once more how negligent and irresponsible these tech moguls are...

Anybody else notice the Mini-ITX B350, AMD optimized G.Skill DDR4 Flare kit and Ryzen+Vega boxes? I suppose that means the 2200G and 2400G reviews are on the way!

Low Power Desktop Should be "T". Secondly only 3 numbers? My Guess is Embedded Series. Anyway 2C/4T.

Dld , well for cpus i will not comment other than that these cpus are on the bellow 99 usd msrp range , now monitors, they just got bigger? Fromfull hd to 1440 p to 4k and few 8k at the kidney price range ips va etc pannels freesynch and g sync up to 240 hz , hdr 10 bit pannels , i mean ... what else do you exactly expect more from monitors? (I am not commenting on how they should be priced btw) it does not seem like there are more things left for the monitors to improuve other than the size pixels hz and color reproduction ...

E might stand for "Embedded" or for "Efficient". Embedded might be an interesting turn of events for this chip.

I was wondering when they were going to release 2c/4t desktop parts. I know people around here would never consider such products, but they are perfectly fine for stuff like library or school PCs.

The "E" is for low TDP.. it does exist on desktop, there is a A6-9500E.

Considering how cheap Zen is right now, and how many bulldozer cores they have left it's an easy market to get into
