Actually the 5c is fairly popular in the states I see more of them than 5s's.
Probably, but from what i´ve read before the normal Iphone 5 was outselling the 5C 5 to 1! And i also read that Apple was considering ending the production of the 5c because of low sales but things may have changed.

I still see more 5's than anything. Apple stepped in it with the 5c and 5s as there really isn't anything worth upgrading for in regards to normal users.

I said "one of the biggest" NOT the biggest, see the difference ? I know Apple aint the biggest brotha, but there are so many people saying Apple is going down this way and that way that it has become silly. They still are ONE OF the biggest players, despite them being a "sinking ship".
well, they are going down. only a few years ago, they dominated the market. They've been going down since the first good Android phones started coming out (dual cores like SGS2). They've been loosing market share left right and centre.

I would like to see the iPhone with a bigger screen.

10000000% this.

do you trust ex - wifes ?? or ex - girlfrineds ???? why trust an ex-founder of apple or whatever ? just lower old models price thats about it Financially speaking apple is robust, like never before
ex-founder? That would imply that he was no longer the founder....which isn't possible since he did in fact found Apple Computers. The fact that he stepped away from the company doesn't mean he doesn't know how to run it. He still has a financial stake in Apple.

Yea,that's ridiculous. They have allegedly been "going down" for year now yet they are still one of the biggest mobile brands.
If you look at market shares you will see that they are going down just not like many people think (not fast but slow). They are losing ground every year, in phone market the only thing that keeps them up is the optimization, if Android was optimize like Apples IOS then they will go down faster. (Many people don't want or know how to optimize they'r android device so they start to say: "It lags" or "I froze" ...), and there are so many brands making Android phones (so many problems). And another thing that helps Apple is the fact that many people don't like or want change (they love to work whit the same apps and interface that they know from IOS).

10000000% this.
If rumors are to be believed, which often isn't the case, then Apple may be releasing a 4.5 - 5.5 inch iPhone 6 this year.

True, i am not disagreeing not denying that, but there are to many people saying Apple is doomed. The fact is Apple has a good customer base and should remain relevant for a long time to come.

Apple are not going down. Look at their stock price, their net worth, etc. They're going to be around for a long time. Marketshare doesn't tell the whole story. Not that it even matters considering Samsung isn't even that far ahead.

Apple has the money to survive a long time with proper management, which they seem to still have. I'd be willing to bet, in a "worse case scenario" event....Apple would probably outlast Samsung barring any government intervention.

Does anyone remember Blackberry? They failed pretty hard because they failed to innovate. The same thing could happen to Apples mobile phone market, however it is unlikely as they have a fairly diverse brand. That being said the ipod was keeping them around before the iphone and now it doesn't bring in nearly as much money as it did in the past.

This wouldn't work. Apple iOS is coded in such a way so that a very low response time in ms is achieved when using the touch screen. There was an article on here a few months ago which stated that Android had around a 100ms response whereas iOS had less than 50ms which explained why Android devices typically felt slow in response times. Android would ruin the snappiness of an iPhone that noobs have come to love. Now I don't have an iPhone but I've used one countless times and I ditched Android for Windows Phone 8 OS but working in IT I can appreciate the little things which make a BIG difference.

It wasn't lack of innovation at RIM. They were blindsided and it simply took them too long to respond to the market shift. Until the iPhone, touch screen phones really weren't that popular and "smartphones" were aimed at corporate use. Prior to the iPhone, "smartphones" weren't really targeted at consumers and as such, had little consumer oriented software available. Apple not only made touchscreen phones trendy, they targetted the consumer market with a smartphone with an app store that allowed individuals to write and sell apps. Apple didn't invent the smartphone market. They just simply introduced it to consumers in the right way. With a product and platform focused on consumers. BlackberryOS 10 is leaps and bounds ahead of iOS, but it was delayed too long and released with too many problems. "Blackberry" has been slow in fixing bugs and it feels like features are missing. I bought a Blackberry Z10 and half the time it didn't respond to gestures properly....if it even responded at all. The keyboard is the worst I've ever used.

100ms would be absolutely monstrous and even approaching 50ms would be very easily noticeable. I've never used any high end Android phone that had anywhere near the delay of 100ms or even 50ms, it would feel laggy as hell if they had 50ms input delay.

http://appglimpse.com/blog/touchmarks-i-smart-phone-touch-screen-latencies/ And yeah it's definitely 100ms, you can test it in various apps that show finger input, it lags a pretty large amount behind your finger.

Yes there is latency, that test don't say what version of Android is using or if the phones are pure stock (google edition) or not so it is not that accurate. This is a problem because Android has so many brands whit different hardware, same problem whit windows.

Apple has lost the big mobile brands crown long ago. Samasung ovens 45% market share in 2013, Apple only 32%
You are also forgetting that Samsung not only floods the market with multiple devices, but sells them in more countries. I think iOS's 32% market share is pretty impressive all things considered. :P

Apple just bought back $15 billion of its own stock from the market and have another $140 billion in cash reserves. They ain't going down.
