Apple going down slowly so yes and Android phone from them may keep them up a bit, but they need to do a good job at optimizing it like Motorola did or they will fail big (they got low specs if you compare flagships Android and Apple phones).

They should make few changes to IOS, lower the prices and that would help them a lot, going to android won't help.

Yea,that's ridiculous.They have allegedly been "going down" for year now yet they are still one of the biggest mobile brands.

yeah they are big on the high end segment. Par to none really. But that is slowly getting really good competition. 😀 Else they are not as big as their counterparts tho.

Apple has lost the big mobile brands crown long ago. Samasung ovens 45% market share in 2013, Apple only 32% :banana:

I said "one of the biggest" NOT the biggest,see the difference ? I know Apple aint the biggest brotha, but there are so many people saying Apple is going down this way and that way that it has become silly. They still are ONE OF the biggest players,despite them being a "sinking ship".

Since the droid razr Motorola has put out some very well optimized devices. The big issue is the devices they have on the market are not attractive to the consumer like Samsung out Apple devices are. Steve makes sense with this though. Dive into sales of the growing market, it seems Apple has been a lot more open with the iPhone since Steve job's passing...

For me Apple needs one or two low end phones. Not everybody has or wants to pay more than 500€ for a phone or sign a two year contract to have an Iphone. Make an Iphone that´s half the price of the current one and just pocket the extra millions!

Apple will not die they have a 35% market share with only three phone models (all smart phones) they are fine.

Not really. They just wrapped the Iphone 5 in a plastic case and asked almost the same price (less 100€, if i´m not mistaken). No one fell for it and the 5C model is a failure because people were expecting an Iphone at almost half the price of the Iphone 5 instead of a slightly cheaper model with a crappy plastic casing... In the end people just buy the normal Iphone.

Actually the 5c is fairly popular in the states I see more of them than 5s's.

What about an Iphone with iOS, but with none of those Apple crappy restrictions? I don't want an Android based smartphone with Apple mentality in it, if you know what i'm saying....
