I don't understand how it can maintain this position after so many years. It's not like these other games are only selling 100 copies per week. And yet, I still don't own it yet. I intend to some day, just never felt the need to yet.

It's sad that so many people are willing to throw money at Atlas. It kind of makes it acceptable to release junk. I know it's early access but still, the things I have heard about it were questionable to say the least.

Could be GTAO cheaters or something. The SP was really good though. It was the first GTA I enjoyed since 2 lol.

RE2 remake. I didn't had so much hype since Dark Souls III... Physical launch buy for me.

Even being early access isn't an excuse; the company falsely advertised their game. When I learnt the Ark's people were behind; I had to go back and watch the Ark trailer just to compare it to what we actually got, and I had no doubt Atlas would be the same; I was right. I told everyone I knew to not jump on the bandwagon, which they didn't. I consider myself a hero in that sense. I blame sheep gamers who can't make up their minds for themselves and simply buy whatever top streamers on Twitch are currently playing.

It is just ARK add-on. I was about to buy it. But realizing why it is separate game and not add-on changed my mind.

i was a big fan of GTA San Andreas, even where into modding community, when i start playing V i was like uncomfortable because i really like it and i felt like a traitor jajaja now days i really enjoy it, one of my favorite sandboxes, i never do the actual main quest ajjajaja each playing session ends in mayhem!

How the hell is that pile of crap PUBG still selling?

Oh it's far worse than Early Access. It's a broken ass pile of crap DLC for Ark (which is already a broken mess always has been) which they decided to release in a very poor state to screw over people who'd idiotically bought the season pass. Remember this is the same company that made an expensive DLC for a game which wasn't even released. Stay far away. I think this company will fold now, since Atlas is so awful

Do they ban a lot of hackers? it could be hackers repurchasing the game? Does the game have gambling? *edit* Seems @lucidus already said the same.

This is a point I asked a while ago when it turned out that CSGO was in the charts week after week after week I am still of the opinion that if the game has some sort of recurring micro-transaction that can be purchased it is getting counted or added as a transaction for the game. CS:GO had it's stupid loot crates and GTAO has it's stupid Shark Cards. Of course with Valve being less than forth coming when it comes to giving actual details about sales then it's impossible for anyone to tell.

With CSGO wasn't it to do with all the trade-able skins / gambling? people making new accounts and trading skins, and those third party websites created for gambling for skins? Basically there was a lot of money able to be made by not even playing the game, just trading skins, so there were a lot of accounts being made / game purchases just the the sake of gambling.
