It's free anyway.
I know, but dont you find it strange that it is required also ?

Once again EU gets shafted... We need 2 WoW Tokens and US only needs 1.

Any word on the rumored Diablo 2 remake (not talking about that cheap StarCraft 2 port) but an official release?

Yes and no. What I mean is yes it is strange that you require the original Starcraft kind of like an expansion sort of remake. What I mean by no is that maybe they needed the original game as a base in order for this to work or its possible they lost their original source code for the game. The game is close to 20 years old.

Far as i know that and warcraft 3 remaster are both in the works... Starcraft remaster might be here to mostly test the waters to see if people buy it... not heard too much though only that theyre being worked on

I also find it weird the original game is needed. Maybe it's just for the audio and maps? But still, I don't see why it's so hard for Blizzard to just ship that themselves.
Awww...There's no Ultrawide Support..:(
I'm not surprised - that could give you an unfair visual advantage. Neither SC1 or SC2 support multi-monitor either.

yes, but so can a faster PC, higher DPS mouse, more responsive keyboard, why draw the line on only a very popular resolution? sure when you are actually competing in a tournament, you can make that restriction if you want. but to not support it is silly. Blizz is just 21:9 racist.

I've heard Valve also had a huge announcement, that everybody absolutely loved and confirmed why we love Valve so much. Dota 2 Card Game. /s

Faster PC doesn't accomplish anything when you play online. You can really only operate as fast as the slowest player. It's not like you can time travel. Higher DPS doesn't give you a strategic advantage, it just makes it so anyone who can take advantage of the extra precision will. In other words, a better mouse allows people to tap any remaining potential the player has; it doesn't make you a better player. The responsiveness of keyboards is irrelevant. You want the most responsive keyboard? A $10 PS/2 ought to work just fine. I agree that they could have at least supported other display ratios for menus, offline content, or casual online play. For tournaments, what they could have done is anything outside of the 16:9 view would gray out, in the same way that the game does when you there is an area you explored but currently has no nearby units or structures. The difference is this grayed-out area also wouldn't show your units, either. Basically, it would act as peripheral vision.

I'm not that interested in SC1, but I would play the heck out of a WC3HD remake.
