So basically take the vram from all the crypto killed other 2080ti cards, add it onto the still working old crypto 2080ti, and sell them as "custom upgrades", for £500.........nice. lol

At least they are up front regarding their cards. They do mention the extra vram is not a reason to buy the card for gaming. Currently only 1 card left (9 sold).
About the seller: we are a studio is Palo Alto, CA specialized in GPU upgrade and repair. Note: you do not need an upgraded 2080ti if you only want to do regular gaming. This upgraded GPU is for deep learning.
I think they will probably do similar going forward for RTX 3000/4000 cards since there will always be AI demand.
