SAMSUNG - effectively banning the use of superlatives in marketing. Very modern, very progressive xD

Since the Samsung does beat the Shield in 3 of the widely used benchmarks, they can say it is the fastest. Whether that is enough basis for a lawsuit, I don't know.

Samsung is the common denominator in most lawsuit cases popping up these days, make you wonder...

"But we can’t hold back on their false contention that Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 outperforms the SHIELD tablet. " Go nVidia!! What a joke of a lawsuit. Samsung has already been called out for false benchmarks and now they want to sue? The A8X blows anything Samsung has out of the water, yet where is the lawsuit there? Again, what a joke.

I guess another reason Samsung is attempting to sue Nvidia was due to their previous 1 billion law suit buy Apple which they lost. Samsung are trying to get some cash back, if you get what I mean. 🙂

Velocity Micro: Nvidia/Samsung Feud Is Not Our Fight http://www.tomshardware.com/news/samsung-nvidia-qualcomm-velocity-micro,28061.html "We know nothing about the previous issues between Samsung and Nvidia, and we don’t care," Copeland said. His response to the lawsuit seems rather bitter, revealing that the small boutique company will be forced to use "precious company resources and energy" to defend itself from Samsung. This is not the company's fight, he said, yet Samsung's legal tactic will affect not only the employees of Velocity Micro, but the surrounding community. "If this is how Samsung operates, we want no part of it, and we hope others agree and consider this during this upcoming holiday shopping season," Copeland concluded.
