Have to wait to see what HTC do first.. HTC one was a great handset so need to see if they can better it this year. Need something special for me to give up my N4 or to not wait for the N6!
The HTC One was by far the best phone of its generation as far as I'm concerned. It deserved to be a lot more popular.

After holding some aluminum cased phones I have to say it really does make plastic cased phones seem cheap.
I've handled the iPhone 5 and HTC One on several occasions. I'm not impressed by either of them. The Blackberry Z10, even being in a plastic housing, feels just as solid.

Cool, hopefully Dolphin emu on android will be able to run at decent frames on this. I use a nokia with unlimited battery life to text and call.
i would not hold my breath about that

Samsung could always come up with 2 models/editions of the 5S, to make both sides happy. Why not add a lite version that comes with a 1080p screen instead of 2k, 1.5Gb ram instead of 3Gb, 8mp camera instead of 13 or 16, quad core 1.6Ghz instead of 2.2Ghz. And make the higher spec one of aluminium build and the cheaper one of plastic. This way, those people who are not willing to spend so much $$ on a phone or are not well off, or live in a third world country have the option of getting a phone of decent specification at an attractive price. If you want higher build quality and better specifications, spend a little more $$ and get the other more expensive model. This way you please most consumers giving them freedom to choose what they want.

You want statistics buy a phone and drop it for several times... and good luck with cracked plastic... Worst thing is that there is super-ultra-durable plastic but no manufacturer will use it because your phone won't break and you won't have to replace it sooner that you expect (because its body is made of frkn fragile piece of crap)
I've dropped, drop kicked, and scraped plastic bodied phones many, many times on concrete, tile, brick, and wood. I've never had anything worse than a small scuff. If the body had been metal, those scuffs would have been dents and scratches, and possibly have led to a cracked screen due to less of the impact being absorbed (why are iphone cracked screens so common I wonder? It can't be because iphone owners drop their phones more often, so it must be something else).

That's actually a good point. I've seen way more iPhones with smashed screens than any other phone.

They're way more common, and the marketbase is likely younger as well.

I like my plastic bodies. I don't drop my phones that often, but I like to know when I do that the damage will be minimal. On another note, good news. I've been wanting a new phone, currently have a S3 mini, and would get the S5 mini in an instant if there was one.

I'm looking to upgrade my S3 in August when my current contract finishes but with T-Mobile taking so damn long to issue updates for the phone - I'm still on v4.1.2 can you believe it
This confuses me, i am on t-mobile, got an S3, and am on 4.3...through regular updates not forcing or etc.
