such things probably wont matter much for the rest of people
In the English version of their report /opinion they also state they want more research to be done, as they've been gathering research on the subject in a special workgroup since 2014 (so yeah that took them a while). And after evaluation of all the latest research data they could gather they've recommend legislative action/harmonization to be taken as they do see a health risk from bright (head)lights, and even cheapo blue LED lit ornamental lighting. And when that happens it has to be taken seriously. So don't buy a wallsized Samsung TV. That's where this is going. Mark my words. Anyone who wants to read the FRENCH version.

Like in the good old days where you sat with the family close in front of your television. Do the same with this one and it falls over or from wall, the whole family is a goner. It may even take some distant relatives in the back of the room. 😛

Apparently blue LED light burns out our retinas...so not thanks. 😎
Mate, this is obviously for manual Home Theater. Therefore, you won't be sitting 30cm across. Also, on my IPS I've reduced from 50 to 25 ( blue light which actually does the more damage to your eyes ) and not only the fatigue went away, but the 50 was a blatant mistake. Also, Brightness from 50 to 10 and Contrast from 50 to 30. These setting are almost perfect, as if used a calibration progam. And for all day long, games, Internet and whatnot.

Word on the street that the green LED is powered by plutonium. Nobody yet knows what super-powered properties red has, but a friend told that if you press press up up down down left right left right on the TV's remote, the red will project a portal to hell on the opposing wall of the livingroom! 😱

@schmidtbag : let's not spread OLD information on a tech enthusiast forum. Hell has been replaced with a permanent audit and gender sensitivity training on respectively even or odd days of the month, due to Hell's Android App compatibility certification for Samsung Smart TV's being rescinded again over aberrant thermal fluctuations. Not to mention malfunctions on any given Sunday.

cough..130 inches Samsung LED cost about 130,000$ and then this 292 Inches would be cost around f***ng no less than 1,000,000$ and Lamborghini Aventedor cost 300,000$.So why the heck someone buy this LED instead Lamborghini which gives you a sexy models too.
I would buy this over a lamborghini any day. Why would i rather have a vehicle that does the same as a $14000 (since i won't be racing it, and only drive from work and back), when i can have a TV that i will actually notice the difference since i, you know, watch TV?

A TV the size of a WALL would. Especially on the internet. Might as well stare straight into a beamer...:p But people's eye are really damaged by LED headlights according to that French agency. So that's a real issue right there. You go to work in the morning with those things blinding you, then you're staring at a screen all day long, and then you have to look into those headlights again on the way home.
Headlights are 8 hojillion times brighter than any screen ever. Blue LEDs don't magically damage your eyes much more than anything else of a given intensity. If an LED is bright enough to damage your eyes, it doesn't matter if it's blue or otherwise, it's going to do damage. Screens don't damage eyes unless the user does something very unusual and stupid, like getting an HDR1000 screen, setting it to 100% and staring at it without blinking for half an hour.

I wear blue light blocking glasses after 6PM every night. It has helped my sleep TREMENDOUSLY. That and my dad currently has macular degeneration, which apparently can be caused by blue light. I'm assuming it's from the years of him staring at the TV. No thanks for me.

Well that escalated quickly!

No one Race in a million dollar Vehicle. Its not a Need for Speed. And Even without a race experience and feeling to drive such vehicle is out of world. And if you are living such life where you only drive home to work and work to home whole year. Then its your problem but its a sad life. But driving a sports car to a trip to a Beach or hills even atleast once in a month or once a year its god like. when i can have a TV that i will actually notice the difference since i, you know, watch TV? QUOTE well like you said about Lambo that i wont be racing it same there no 8k content so you are wasting money on it. And i can bet on this that if you show this 292 inches screen and a lambo to your friends all of your friends will praise you for lambo more than TV

Why the heck would i want to ride a sports cars to the beach or hills? Both of those are all-wheel drive options, still not needing a lambo for. No, i don't only drive to work and back, but like most people, that is 99% of what you do with a car. Yes, i do go out into the mountains, camp, explore, etc. All of this takes a car, and i would not even remotely want a lambo for it, that would be a horrible experience. Lambos are meant for driving, not exploring, there is a very big difference. And why would i want to worry about friends "praising" me? Seems to me you live a sad life if all you care about is impressing other people and will spend money to do it rather then actually enjoy life. As to there not being any 8K content, i didn't say there were, i said there would be more impact on someones life from a 292 inch TV, since almost everyone watches TV, then buying a lambo, that you drive to work each day and back. This is true for most people, even if they don't think its true, because they are stuck on impressing their friends and coworkers, which is just sad. Buying a lambo would be a waste of money that would only serve to impress my friends and coworkers but not actually change anything in my life other then to make me feel "big". Buying a large TV would actually do something different in my life. Both are not needed, by any means, but the large TV would get actual use, rather then just a show off factor. You want to disagree with me? Fine, your choice to do so, but i definitely do not envy someone whose sole purpose is to try and impress people and feel "big". Lots of wasted money there. Great day at the beach with a lambo! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DG4HMmxVwAIH7SG.jpg Great day in the mountains with a lambo! https://i.ytimg.com/vi/EXshVgeAJKA/maxresdefault.jpg Great day just...driving around with speedbumps and other issues with roads with a lambo! https://i.ytimg.com/vi/JOiV4plYOyo/hqdefault.jpg Yeah.....no thanks!

In other words you are the kind of person who just wants to show off... I will always buy what brings the most value to my life, regardless of what anyone else thinks about it.

AWD is for mainly Off-Road.And there are roads goes in Hills and Beaches for other cars.but i think where you live there's no roads going to hills and beaches its all off-roads only. Then ya TV is just fine for you.And watch sports cars on a TV. https://imgur.com/JcvHjC5https://imgur.com/JcvHjC5 http:// https://imgur.com/JcvHjC5 https://imgur.com/EAy8QrG https://imgur.com/CaKeuAZ http:// Good luck with your Led tv https://imgur.com/b1viYUk
