The last year of Intel leadership. The main advantage of Intel was tech process and soon it will be gone.

If you think intel vs AMD in CPU market, then you are wrong. AMD does not lag behind because of process node, but because of memory controller and few other things. Let's take a10-7850k, and compare it to my i5-2500k. 1st - If you do just simple memory block move/read benches: a10-7850k equipped with 2133MHz memories does just bit better than i5-2500k with 1600MHz. (if you give them equally "slow" 1600MHz memories, a10-7850k fails horribly) 2nd - giving a10-7850k 2133MHz memory while leaving i5-2500k with 1600MHz: a10-7850k has to be clocked @4.4GHz to match stock i5-2500k @3.7GHz in average workloads. That being said if AMD fix memory controller which I believe they are capable to do they will still lag behind intel i5-2500k by around 15% in regards of operations per second. And finally while intel did not improve IPC with 4000 series much in comparison to 2000 series, they did big improvement in memory controller leaving AMD well behind. (yes, this is irrelevant as intel will move to ddr4 and then hmc and AMD will likely move soon to HBM) And if by any chance you meant that intel x86 will be defeated by any ARM device then it will not happen any time soon as x86 means productivity while ARM means mobility.
