Undying:

Idea would be that 5600x drop in price so 5600xt can take its place. Then 5600 non-x would not be needed.
Was that the idea with the 3600XT? Well, it didn't work that way. These are just cash grabs.

I want 5950xt to be with upgraded memorycontroller! Imagine 5950x with 4800c17 1:1 mode 😀
Not going to happen . If they improve enough so every sample can hit 2000 FCLK would be good. My 5600X supose to be golden sample but highest stable FCLK is 1933 , i can boot 2066 FCLK but i get massive WHEA errors . I Can do 2000 for benchmarsk no problem , no crashes for hours even , but it will eventually crash under desktop or load , no matter , it will sooner or later.

I am days away from pulling the trigger on a 5950x (waiting for a waterblock to come into stock) and this happens. I know there's always new stuff around the corner but this news makes me feel like holding out.
which water block? where are you? here in US there is wide availability of AM4 blocks from every player (that's in the US market).

Almost bought me a pre-built from cyberpower of just for a damn 5950X!! Willing to spend damn near 2K on the whole experience just for the CPU. Maybe to sell off the rest of the hardware at a decent price point to recoup some of the cost. And to maybe give back to the people who can't get their hands on shite too. I mean do I need it. No. Have a 3900X and 3960X. Do I want it. Yeah...... Just sad to know it isn't going to slow down for us consumers for at least another year plus. Foundries aren't even being built yet just being spoken of ATM. I guess I just need to sit back and enjoy whilst the smoke and dust settles all around.

In UK right now its quite good availability of 5900X or 5950X, few weeks back you couldn't get one and if yes only from scalpers Few bigger shops have them in stock with prices from £710-£780(previously if you could get 5950X for anything below £800 you would feel very lucky hahaha) Hope this helps Thanks, Jura

I have to agree with this, 5950x are widely available in the UK right now, as for that cyberpower site I couldn't see a physical address which would worry me, and the price for https://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/system/ultra-r59-elite-gaming-pc which includes some pretty basic components for a 5950x build is ridiculous. If I was guessing, I'd say this guy is building them in his bedroom.

They will be just like other XT trash ? More money for the same thing ?

Basement, bedroom or bathroom. Where does one build a PC of their own. I mean I do have an area with a desk and nice big'ol gamers Nexus mod mat that I work at. Just wondering what your comment on "if I was guessing this guy is building them in his bedroom." is all about?

My comment implied a nice website concealing a one man band just buying the stuff as a normal online customer to build pc's. It was just my opinion based on looking at the website.

Yeah I'm happy with my 1900mhz on both of my 3900/3960X's respectively. Found out from my buddy that the 5000 series doesn't bode that much better in regards to infinity fabric timings.

50-100mhz on average better than Zen2.

Right on. And yeah now the cpu's are all readily available here. Was like 25 in stock at my only microcenter here in Michigan. Thinking I'm going to hold out for the 5k threadripper series. Would allow for a bit more to be squeezed out of my 3090 in lower threaded applications. Albeit I am getting around %98 of GPU utilization when running lower resolution benches. Seeing that from a furmark run the other day on my new Optimus waterblock. Not to say it's anything to gawk at as tomb raider will spell an entirely different story when resolution is taken into consideration. Like having %60 utilization at 1080 or some crazy shtuff like that. 5000 series on am4 is bad ass. Can not wait to see what the RIPPAH has to offer now! Come on August with a release date!! This I will be waiting for in line at my microcenter that is for sure!
