Big Navi gonna smack this thing left and right. :P

Disapointing numbers for the GA102-300 if true... only 20% more cuda cores than 2080 ti...
Big Navi with its leaked spec means it won't be slower than 3080 at least.

Lol, keep dreaming.

Memory looks strange. GDDR6x does not exist and noone produce 21Gbps... So I would take also the rest just as a rumor.

So 3080Ti will be called 3090? Cool.

Just 10GB? I have already 8GB.

You will be probably more disapointed when you see price of this thing.

Pricing aint the issue for me... lack of performance gains is... i need about 50% more performance, and 20% is underwhelming to put it mildly.

50% over 2080ti then this is not your new gpu.

Why so salty? Or are you a fanboy? Never understood people like you. I can only hope that this gen both Nvidia and AMD will be extremely competitive - this will benefit the consumer, not your logic of "mah card is better than yours". We had that prevail for the past 10 years and look where we ended up - small incremental changes gen-over-gen, slap on top of its massive price increase.

Oh and what gpu do you suggest i get then? -_- If i want a performance gain, i will need to buy it regardless how big that performance gain is...

4532 sp is not enough for +50% over 2080ti.You probably need something with ~6k sp.

Two subcontractors responsible for the Founders Edition manufacturing are now under investigation: Foxconn and BYD (Build Your Dreams). It is also said that even NVIDIA product and sales managers have not seen the design yet, which also may or may not be true, but if it is then it just proves how fresh the leak was... https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-cooler-could-cost-up-to-150-usd-alone Model SKU PCB chip Memory interface TBP Connectors RTX 3090 Ti/SUPER/TITAN SKU10 PG132 GA102 24 GB GDDR6X 384-bt 350 W. 3x DP, HDMI NVLink RTX 3080 Ti/SUPER SKU20 PG132 GA102 11 GB GDDR6X 352-bit 320 W. 3x DP, HDMI RTX 3080 SKU30 PG132 GA102 10 GB GDDR6X 320-bit 320 W. 3x DP, HDMI

more shader cores is nice to have but its the architecture which will let us know if we get 20-50% more performance vs 2080TI. But we will at least get more tensor cores and raytracing performance will be much better. The only problem is that few games support it, hence we still need the raw non-rtx performance increase. I am guessing 30% more performance vs a 2080ti (without ray tracing) in every situation. and 50% more performance vs a 1080ti (without raytracing). That means this new card will run 4K 60fps+ on heavy game like RDR2, maxed out.

I was expecting this gen to have 16GB for the high end (3080). It'd feel really weird for such a card to have less VRAM than a 1080 Ti.

It is not bad at all. 320-bit bus provides 25% more bandwidth than 256-bit bus 2080(S) have without eve bumping clock. With 16GHz instead of 14GHz GDDR6, that's 43% more bandwidth and potentially bit lower latency. (2080Ti has 37,5% higher memory bandwidth than 2080(S).) Therefore worst case scenario it is 2080Ti with bit better memory bandwidth. Add improvements and it is quite fine.

Launching with 3080 is good news, perf wise. If they are leading with x80 part, that means they have more OOMPH to spare while providing enough for ppl to upgrade without blowing entire die budget. OTOH ff they are leading with huge die, like in 2080 Ti case, that's not so great - that means that in order to hit perf. goal they have to deploy all they have and can't get away with little-big die. This being a full node jump makes leading with 3080 instead of Ti all but certain.

Who gives a shit about raytracing though... And no, it wont get 60+ fps in rdr2 maxed out, of it is only 30% faster than a 2080 ti, as the 2080 ti gets drops into the 30's when rdr2 is maxed out.
