Ok so it's 4 + 4. I thought thats a lot of different cards but it's just 4 XT and 4 XTX cards. It's just more confusing naming schemes as these cards are not the same like the 4080 was going to be.

All made by Palit I'd guess. Wouldn't touch Asus, ever again.

So it's going to be white/black x stock/OC x XTX/XT to total 8...

I'm very happy with my TUF 3080 OC's build. They turned the TUF branding from a dumpster fire with the TUF 5700XT into one of the best bang for the buck models a generation after that. I hear that Asus's warranty/RMA process is still horrifficly bad though (I wouldn't know, I haven't RMA'd an Asus product in years). I'm going to wait for reviews that tear down the cards before picking one, assuming it's even reasonably priced in Canada. There's a very high chance I'm going to skip this gen with what a clown fiesta the prices are. Which company has the "best" RMA process for video cards?

In my experience, RMAing EVGA and MSI cards has been somewhat easy. And my Sapphire cards never broke down lol.

EVGA has been amazing with there RMA process, it one reason why I always bought there cards, I just had to RMA my 450gts which was RMA of 9800gt which carried a life time warranty even the RMA i getting 1030 now is lifetime warranty... Not that matters less they start making gpu again in future. Aside from going from mid/high end card to mid/low end to entry level card(35w card) with rma's i never had one issue with there rma of gpu's

You have probably single handedly bankrupted the company. No wonder EVGA has stopped making cards 😛

Too bad they're not an option and never were for AMD cards. As for MSI, their RMAs take forever, but their RMA facility not too far from me has good people working there who do their best to help the customer, so I have mixed feelings regarding MSI... though I should note the RMA facility isn't really one and they have to ship things to California which is why it takes forever. I wanted to ask if any of you guys have experience with Powercolor? They make the Red Devil cards which everyone seems to love, so I have them in mind, but the only time I ever bought a Powercolor card was a Radeon R9 290X that was defective out of the box. The store had no other stock and I didn't want to wait for an RMA so I just returned it and bought a GTX 970.

I've had a few over the years and never had any issues with the hardware itself. I'd rate Powercolor and Sapphire as the 2 best when it comes to AMD cards.

probably wasnt the best idea from any companies stand point atlest not for "tech", but that the thing of all the EVGA cards i got that HAD lifetime warranty which was 6+ i only had the 9800gt that was ever rma'ed i have no clue what happen to the other cards, they where not linked to my account, probably cause i didnt realize at time it need to linked to account life time warrenty aside, work with there RMA was always been simple easy, I would tell them what wrong and before i bring up RMA they brought it and said said it. they even had cross shipping which not many placed do to my knowledge? had put hold on your CC to do but it was worth special if pc was work computer they could not be down for week. I hear nightmares about asus RMA never had to personal RMA any of there stuff so i dont know, I had to RMA for uncle a MSI and GIGABYTE gpu both time was not fun they tired everything possible to say it not card, but then when got cards they email him back say it was cards and replaced it. I think milage on RMA experience will vary from person to person and if you get customer support that actual understand the tech.

Why not? I've never had a problem with Asus.

Just because you never had a problem, doesn't mean the company makes good products. Up until 2013 Asus was my go to hardware company (stuff was made in Taiwan) and they made amazing stuff that lasted decades. 2017 I bought a GPU and I could see the quality was not on par with old Asus. 2019 me and my friend bough new computers and I can assure you: Asus has ben a headache since! Low quality products and no honour of warranty? F* that company.
