Horus-Anhur:

Techpowerup also gave this card a "Highly Recommended" badge. Seriously, wtf is going on?
They have to blow Nvidia or they won't be given cards/access, it really is that simple. There is 0 reason to buy this card when a 6800XT (or even 6700xt) exists, and that's a previous generation card. It's really really bad.

Some outlets: "Beyond terrible" "Waste of silicon" "The worst value GPU on the market" "Laughably bad" "Do not buy" "Thank you Nvidia... for nothing" Other outlets: "The new mid-range king" (JaysTwoCents - Deleted) "Highly recommended" "The card to get today" "Finally, the right price" Seriously ? This almost seems like Left-Right politics... 😕 Edit: One "positive" review down How long until the other shills are being shown the finger ? Guess which outlet is the "Highly recommended" one ?

RTX 4060Ti: how crappy u want me to be? THE Leather Jacket Guy: yes. It is a direct "don't give an F" from him to us ' pc enthusiasts ' .. guys. And how on earth it gets a "recommended" badge from HH? how???? I thought and still think this site to be one the least influenced benchmark sites. Really

It's the same as the 4070 - over priced in comparison to previous generations but still overall the best value card in it's price range. That seems to just be how much stuff costs these days - both AMD and Nvidia are charging more for less. It's not as if not buying is going to have much impact as plenty will still buy the cards, and both companies are more interested in their respective cpu and AI businesses to care overly - all less sales mean is more silcon for their other businesses.

I don't understand the complaints?...were y'all expecting a 4K card?

Ivrogne:

Me asking the same question. Just buy 2nd hand 6700xt or 3060ti and you got better deal than this card. Unless if you want dlss 3, I guess?
TPU did the same, you can ignore those badges and just go by the game results.

not even 3070 lol, and 8G still. efficiency is nice and it has dlss3, but this is just a lazy effort cause of no competition.

its slower than a 3060 ti at 1440p most of the time. This review is a disgrace and tells alot.

no, we expected more than 10% over 3060ti.

lol no it isn't. it's like 6750xt with better efficiency. still, a no buy when last gen has the same perf and much lower price.

Everyone: "One of the worst products in years/do not buy" G3D: "Recommended" no comments...

At 1440p, it IS slower with some games. Pathetic gpu.

3060 Ti = 2080 Super performance 4060 Ti = 3060 Ti performance

3060ti is a little faster than 2080S, so is 4060ti vs 3060ti. I don't know if the differences are noticeable tho, prolly not, we're talking 5% maybe in both cases. and 4060ti is actually 399, same as 3060ti, what a waste lol.

The PCIx8 doesn't create a bottle neck apparently and it is quite power efficient and cool. debauer does a neutral review and goes over the pros and cons. I can imagine the youtube channels that might have been very negative, not looked yet. 🙂 Of course the main problem again is the price for that spec of card and the performance, which people have said does not move the game on into 2023.... needs to be a lot cheaper. Hopefully it will sell badly and nVidia will adjust downward. Er, maybe ...

Hilbert Hagedoorn:

While I do take constructive criticism always serious, it's these kinds of remarks that will get you booted from the forums. Just sayin' ...
Hi Hilbert, You did mention the downsides, but the badges can be just something someone quickly looks at. Instead of those why don't you give a set of scores that replicate your sections and also split into resolutions for fps ? Then cost as well of course. That might give a more granular snapshot than the badge in conjunction to the summary.

Well I am little disappointed I must admit but still gonna consider it as am on a 970 and one fan! hehe.

IF you want 1440p, don't. This "gpu" already loses to the 3060 TI at 1440p in games like hogwarts legacy... the successor LOSES in pure rasterization... The tiny bus width will only make that worse over time on resolutions that are not 1080, thats why they market this as a 1080p card... The fact that this actually received praise from here and other mainstream sites tell ALOT and its a disservice to all the community. Outlets like gamer nexus and HUB tell it how it is, you can hate them for that but it's the goddamnn truth... A shame....

For $399 it should have come with 12GB, but with the 128-bit interface that's not possible. Though value proposition.

:/ , I just had a hard look at the Forza horizon 5 benchmarks , the game i play daily and this card is slower than a 3060Ti on that tittle that i do not know what to think 😳. Also third party gpu maker's are going nuts with their pricing 😱 , almost $500 Dollars for low end 4060Ti a 8gb , 128bit bus , x8 pciE , how about hell no , just nop , never ...

As a low tier part, it performs well. It is not priced as a low tier part, which means it is hard to value it as such considering price is entry point to ownership. I feel for the boss. I have no doubt if he slated it, nvidia would suddenly exclude him (and other tech review outlets) from being within the initial release window for new hardware. Other news sources which review and gain income from multiple different domains is different to those specialising in PC hardware. A difficult relationship to remain balanced on.
