Well actually if you go on the Swedish website, the R9 290X is 1191kr cheaper than the Titan. That's around $190. Not to mention it is supposed to perform the same/slightly better (Apparently). So I'd call that a significant undercut. The problem is that the Titan has always been too expensive, and a good GTX780 can get pretty close and those are a lot cheaper. Then again, people with that kind of money just want the best card they can get...

Although the price info has not been shared to press, I'm very sure the pre-order price is massively over exaggerated.
There are always a few people silly enough who pre-order. That store loves them.

So it's sat between a 780 and a Titan? I'd have prefered to see them at least price match it against the 780's, although prices might still come down after the actual launch. I'll be waiting for non-reference cards anyway. Lets hope it performs as well as we expect.

AMD shipped everything except the R9-290X to press. Should be next week I hope. Other then that I really can't share anything else as you can understand.

Looks like around 830€..Not too bad, but I suspect they charge premium out of that in Webhallen.

No way am I spending more than £350 on a Graphics card, you only have to buy a new one within two years any ways.

newegg.ca had it listed at $750 with the BF4 bundle. The listing is still there but the price removed.

You all realize that this isn't just the preorder price of a limited edition product but also a Swedish site and thus including 25% VAT in the price (aside from being more expensive in general), right?
If it's 7299 SEK then I wouldn't be surprised if the general availability price ends up ~699 USD.

Putting a brand new GPU for selling and giving NO specs, NO performance numbers? Are you really asking people to take a "leap of fate" and spend $750 on your product?!
By now, I was expecting AMD to throw raw numbers at us; to prove the community how well their brand new GPU architecture competes against an eighteen months old Kepler GPU architecture.

I don't want R9 290X to beat the TITAN and cost $300 less! For that I have my GTX 780 that costed me $400 less!
What I want is a R9 290X that demolishes the TITAN. I want +20% more performance for $300 less!
That's what we all want and you had almost 2 years to deliver what we want, AMD.
