At present, there is no FreeBSD support for AC or newer wifi adapters. So no PFSense or OPNsense wifi routers. Also, apparently you can't enable AP mode on the newer Intel adapters. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000023257/network-and-i-o/wireless.html
