So asking out of curiosity, has any fellow guru noticed either an advantege or disadvantege to charge their phones wirelessly? As in, does it degrade the battery quicker?
Because some of the earlier batteries were rated to only take about 150 charges... which can be less than a year easily. Working against guarantees and all in relation to customers complaining about degrading batteries and all, I guess.

I've been charging my phone wirelessly since 2017.
I've been charging my phone (as in, still the same phone, a Galaxy S8) wirelessly since 2017 (self explanatory).

I really love the Magsafe chargers I've been using on the Iphone 12 and now 15 and i'm glad that compability will catch up with all wireless pads. I have a magsafe pad mounted on the dash of the car next to the radio and despite the phone charging in midair vertically, it doesn't fall off even after hitting reasonably large bumps on the road. The only thing that would usually drop the phone on the floor is if i knock it down by accident. I'm surprised that no one else is doing this, looks much cleaner than what ever phone holders people use in their car and it charges the phone too. I hope the Qi2 pads will have as strong of a magnetic hold as the apple official one.
