If you can reach Mars, then it's easy to go on the Moon... This is the meaning of OC on LN2, same as Formula 1 that have bring so much things on everydays car...

Yeah no lol If you think it's all for bragging rights and to try and get someone to spend more money on a KP or a HOF then you're wrong. A lot of very talented overclockers have helped in more ways than you seem to know with products, hell not even just in house ones. More than a few have helped with testing BIOS's before products have been released, memory overclocking etc But yes overclockers have been used by manufacturers in the past for that reason though, not to say all overclockers in those privileged positions have taken the piss themselves a couple certainly have.
And again, I'm aware of all you say. I am aware that they are not only doing LN2 overclocking for show, but also testing stuff out, working on ES at times, testing BIOS versions etc. and again, you are absolutely right. Still, the news we are discussing here, that the TR 3990X has hit 5.3 under LN2, has little real value for the end user. This is what this thread and the op is about... If they happen to have a news post about how there will be new microcode updates or BIOS versions for the 3990X that helps the end user, I'll gladly pull out my enthusiasm. Until then, news about LN2 oc are "good to know", but hardly something to have my heart skip a beat over. Which is what I meant in my first place.

My point also... This kind of shows are for marketing, publicity and show off. It's part of a product launch marketing campaign - it's not something invented by AMD, Intel also used this kind of publicity but rarely lately because they don't have something to brag about right now...:p From my knowledge there was no technology gain for the masses from LN2 overclock, nothing that was used after these sessions for the mass market production since they started this kind of "shows" until now. Once again it's good for them but just from marketing POV.
