As someone who primarily uses Linux on a daily basis (including at work), I don't really understand what people hate so much about Windows 10 compared to 7. There are only 2 things I found especially annoying: 1. It advertises way too many MS products and in a pretty intrusive way. 2. It seems to be even more bloated than Windows 7, which was already too heavy for my liking.
1. Such as apps in the Store? I never liked the idea of apps on Windows, after using it since Day 1 I can now firmly say I'm all for apps on my desktop OS. 2. Pre-Anniversary update yes. Post Anniversary update even more so, but post update I gained an extra 7GB of free space. My tablet with 32GB eMMC gained around 2GB and has never had the luxury of so much space since it's days on Windows 8.

There is no Media Player in win10, i liked many apps of older windows, all new apps are slow and not usable, they are cripled version for tablet or smartphones
Some of the apps are quite nice and there is a Windows Media Player in Win 10. I am using it as my default for music and video. It's not a Store app either. It's baked into the OS just like it always has been. It just can't play DVD's any more but there are free players like ***** which also play BluRay discs.

This is good for everyone. Windows 10 is the future and all other versions are already obsolete.

To the people saying that there is nothing wrong with windows 7, I disagree, win7 and later can´t switch between interlaced and progressive modes, everybody using arcade monitors and retrogaming on pro monitors is stuck on winxp. And win10 isn´t that great either, I have to use empty command list software to manually free memory so some games can run stutter free, and that integrated AV makes my pc feel a bit sluggish, I´m constantly disabling the thing.

Windows 10 issues have doubled my business. Keep up the good work Microsoft!

When did you lose the ability to select interlaced or progressive scanning in the Nvidia Control Panel? It still works for me.
