Two problems with "those" price cuts: 1st - they are too low, the cards are still expensive as hell, like 3080ti for 1.100€!? 2nd - they are only cutting the prices of higher end cards, what about the rest? Not everyone wants to spend more than 600€ on a card...

1) those are the cards with the least inventory and the most mark-up 2) Nvidia is offering the dealers "support" on mid and low tier cards as they have the most inventory, of course this "support" just leaves dead money in dealer stock - and hidden here is the fact that a lot of these dealers were scalpers - which makes them "the worst" as they paid stock D/C and took the mining profits.

"Jesus Wept" for the folks who bought 3080(8Gb) when the 12Gb is lower in price....

3090ti drop is because the 3090 is effectively discontinued.

Not really. 6600 and 6700 are very good choice and i see many people are recommending them.

You mean the shills who keep recommend buying GPUs that are dropping in prices day by day? Sure listen to those shills 😀

for someone who thinks so highly of himself you'd imagine they know 3080 has 10g and 3080 12g is and always has been more expensive, wasn't that what amd fanboys ranted about all the time ?

Even the nvidia shills are recommending them. 6600 for 250-270$ is the real deal and considering its cheaper than 3050 thats frankly embarrassing for nvidia.

The AMD lineup is actually not priced too bad right now. For instance, I think the 6600XT is effectively the same as my 5700XT. I got this card during the last mining dip, in early 2020, for $389. A decent deal. 2 years later, the 6600XT can be had for $339. They aren't giving them away but it seems... reasonable. Not as good as we used to get for price/performance between generations, but it's quite fantastic compared to triple MSRP of just months ago.

Did you really put up a 3440x1440 benchmark and doom eternal nonetheless to highlight the 6600xt bottlenecks? Its a 1080p card.

LOL, those 6600 will be <200usd soon, I have seen miners selling them for ~200usd already, and to think the MSRP for rx6600 is 330usd. brand new 2060 is also cheaper than rx6600 here, make the 2060 much better choice too.

2060 is slower than 6600 and has less vram. Only in your mind that could be a better choice. :P

since when is 12 less than 8 I thought you said 8g is not enough for 1440p
