awful price, should be no more than 150$, also the MSRP, which means actually price will be way higher than what it's worth.
It out performs the 470 so, no it's not over priced for the market unfortunately.

470 is overpriced as well, not that good of a card, both should not cost more than 150$, problem is that the real price is way higher than MSRP, those invalidates the cards, that applies to other cards as well.

The key words in my statement are, "for the market." Which means if the cards are selling at the prices they are at, then they are at the right price regardless of what you or me think.

I couldn't agree more. I'm not as fortunate as many here it seems. I either have to buy crappy video cards or used ones. The 480s made me think I might be willing to spend more than usual and get a nice new card but I don't think they're worth what prices they're getting at the moment. I'd probably buy a 8GB 480 with a good cooler for $200. Or a 4GB 470 for $150. No way I'm paying what the market wants at this time. At $150 a 3GB gtx 1060 would appeal to me too. These latest budget cards got me interested in a new video card but if I were to buy a card now, I'd look for a used one I like better.

I would like to see the Geforce 750TI replacement with Pascal core with TDP up to 75W.

183 euro? I'd buy it without second thought... The sad reality is in my country it costs at least 300 euro. This is the only reason I don't jump to 1060. Can't grasp the fact I've to pay almost double price. I feel great sucker.
the specs won't be clearly posted anywhere for comparison. THAT is where the deceptive marketing comes in. NVidia will never print the full product specs on the package, nor will their board partners. Consumers will look at the package, see the GTX1060 label and immediately assume that the performance will be the same, within a margin of error.
You're absolutely right... None is gonna see the difference between them two, even in case nvidia decide to print the specs. It is deceptive. I imagine my nephews before I instilled in their minds some things about PCs, they would buy that card without ever noticing the difference. The solution lies to the guy that works at the store... Some good guys explain the difference, some have direct orders not to... I was in Germany for a year, my GPU burnt and the guy directly tried to show me the problem. His supervisor called him and almost fired him because he had to keep my PC and tell me about 2-3 days later in order to pay more.
